The Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has strongly criticized winger Antony for his subpar performances at the club.
In a recent interview, Parker bluntly stated that it’s a fact that Antony is not very good, pointing to his underwhelming displays since joining the Red Devils from Ajax in 2022.
Parker’s comments come as Antony has failed to impress under Erik ten Hag’s management, leading to growing concerns about his value to the team. Parker’s scathing assessment highlights the pressure on Antony to improve his form and justify his place in the Manchester United squad.
“I was hoping last season after his first season, that he was going to show something. I was hoping that with a full pre-season, his second season in Manchester would serve a purpose,” Parker said.
“It only served a purpose to let everyone know that it’s a fact and it is written in stone that he’s not very good. I look at his left foot, and normally, you say people have got a wand as a left foot, he’s got a log.”
