The Abia State Police Command, in collaboration with the Behind Bars Human Rights Team, made a disturbing arrest today, according to ABN TV reports.
A 46-year-old father, Christopher Ugwunna Azubuike, from Uratta Amaogwugwu in the Isialangwa North Local Government Area, was taken into custody for allegedly defiling his only daughter, who is just 1 year and 9 months old. This tragic incident is particularly shocking as the child was conceived after five years of marriage.
Reports indicate that medical examinations conducted at two separate hospitals in Aba confirmed injuries consistent with defilement.
