FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has assured Nigerians that the nation’s capital will experience significant transformation by the end of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure. Wike made this commitment during the inauguration of an upgrading project for the War College/Army Checkpoint and related roads in Ushafa, located in the Bwari Area Council.
During the event, Wike emphasized that all Area Councils within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would benefit from improved infrastructure. This initiative is part of the current administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to enhance the overall quality of life in the capital.
The minister’s assurances reflect the government’s commitment to fostering development and progress throughout Abuja, aiming to create a city that meets the needs of its residents and visitors alike.
“As far as infrastructure is concerned, by the time this administration finishes in 2027, Abuja will be a different thing altogether.
“I can assure you that every Area Council will be treated very well. You don’t need to worry yourself. The Renewed Hope Agenda is real. You can see that a promise made, is a promise fulfilled.”
