The Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has reacted to the allegations on social media platform about him having multiple side chics.
Controversial blogger, Gistlover, created a buzz on social media after naming several women, including Nancy Isime, Hilda Baci, Wanneka, Ini Edo, and Dakore Egbuson, as alleged side chics of the Senate President.
Godswill Akpabio referred to a previous conversation with Senator Natasha Akpoti, which he believes was misinterpreted and led to the controversy.
He stated that his wife received a lot of calls and messages as a result of the unjust accusations.
Akpabio expressed surprise at the public’s interest in the matter and clarified that he is happily married to one wife and has no interest in any other woman.
He said:
“I’ve not been online. I started getting calls and text messages this morning alerting me to a very wicked lie from the pit of hell and I must say I am very disappointed, I’m very shocked, I’m appalled and I want to categorically state that I’ve never ever in my life met the senate president, I have not had any cause to see him or to be in the same room with him, not to talk of being one of his side chicks. Hello, I’m married, happily married, I have two beautiful children, I have always been above board in my dealings with anyone and for a jobless wicked blogger to put my name amongst women who have been with this man is totally wicked and totally unfounded!”
