Zlatan Ibile: Biography of a Street-Hop Icon

Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile or simply Zlatan, was born on 19 December 1994 in Lagos, Nigeria.

He’s the founder and CEO of Zanku Records, and has become a leading figure in the Afrobeats and street-hop scene  .

Raised in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Zlatan hails originally from Ijurin, Ekiti State. He earned a National Diploma in Business Administration from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (formerly Ogun State Polytechnic)  .

His musical journey began early—after secondary school in 2011, he honed his craft freestyling in Yoruba and Pidgin, spending time in studios in Ilorin and Ogun State  .
