Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken emotionally about being separated from her children, accusing her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of using custody of their sons as a tool to fight her.

The actress shared a video on social media showing her speaking with her children during a video call, expressing how deeply she misses them.

According to Regina, she has not been able to speak to her sons since mid-November, shortly after she left her marriage and accused Ned Nwoko of domestic violence.

She alleged that her husband has deliberately employed different tactics to prevent her from having access to their children.

“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away,” she wrote.

Regina further criticized Ned Nwoko for repeatedly posting their children online during the ongoing situation, describing the act as deliberate and attention-seeking.

“The repeated public exposure of my children reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father. It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience, would be unaware that posting our children publicly at this time would attract media scrutiny,” she stated.

She also accused him of dismissing her nannies and pressuring them into making false allegations against her in front of the children.

“Ned dismissed all my nannies, pressured them into making false statements accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children, and has since filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care,” she added.

The actress expressed frustration at the intensity of the custody battle, questioning why she is being challenged so aggressively.

Regina concluded by reaffirming her love for her children and her determination to reunite with them.

“I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum. It’s so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!”
