“Tragedy struck in São Paulo, Brazil, as a plane carrying 62 people crashed into a residential area, resulting in no survivors.
The Voepass-operated aircraft, en route from Cascavel to Guarulhos, had 58 passengers and 4 crew members on board. Dramatic videos shared on social media captured the plane’s rapid descent before impact, while footage aired by GloboNews showed a massive fire and smoke billowing from the wreckage in Vinhedo.
Authorities in Valinhos, a nearby municipality, confirmed the devastating loss of life. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva expressed his condolences, stating that all passengers and crew appeared to have perished, and led a moment of silence at an event in southern Brazil to honor the victims.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, as Voepass has yet to release any information.”
